Lee Sarason

Sarason is Windrip’s chief strategist and the intellectual architect behind much of the campaign. He treats Windrip as a useful performer and imagines himself capable of governing more elegantly. He helps remove Windrip and briefly becomes president. General Haik’s faction kills him in a coup, proving that manipulation does not protect the manipulator from the machinery he helped build.
