Dr.
The book

Who they are in the book
Spoiler-freeDr. Kimoe is the Urrasti physician who cares for Shevek during the voyage from Anarres. Their conversations give Shevek his first personal contact with Urrasti assumptions about property, women, and social rank. Kimoe is curious and not malicious, but he often reveals prejudice without recognizing it. He leaves the story after Shevek reaches Urras, and his later life is unknown.
